Follow The BearTNL Live have an annual end of season team bonding event called Follow The Bear. Over the course of the season, all monies remaining after the venue hire/pitch has been paid are placed in to a kitty, known as 'the Bear'. This kitty is used to purchase alcohol/soft drinks for all members that attend. Below is a list of the locations that TNL Live have conquered over the years so far:

Taking the event overseas to Benidorm in 2015 was a major coup as it allowed TNL Live to establish itself as a European force to be reckoned with - there was even a game of football on Levante beach and TNL Live defeated the Spanish! In some instances, the kitty may run out but experience has shown that very little personal spending money has ever been required for any event. All Follow The Bear events take place between September and December each year, with members usually given a minimum of four to five months notice to confirm their preferred dates/location. If for any reason a Follow The Bear event does not happen, the season will be extended and any kitty monies accrued will continue to build up and roll over to the next Follow The Bear event.
Follow The Polar BearIn addition to the main event, Follow The Polar Bear is an annual Christmas event which consists of an evening in Durham in December. Non-members are welcome to attend and if any kitty is used, non-members can choose to donate an acceptable sum if they would like all of their drinks paid for. In the past, non-members have attended this joyous occasion and ended up joining TNL Live as a result.
