Please read carefullyBy expressing an interest in, and agreeing to participate in any TNL Live fixture, you accept the following Terms and Conditions. If there is a failure of adherence from any person(s), TNL Live has the right to cease the membership of the offending person(s) without notice. You must respect the host at all times. Failure to comply may result in a temporary or permanent ban from TNL Live, depending on the offence caused. The current TNL Live season begins on Thursday 5thJanuary 2023 and concludes at full time of the fixture that precedes the next Follow The Bear event. The designated host for all TNL Live fixtures and events is Dan Lightfoot. The host is responsible for arranging all fixtures, including squad recruitment and communicating relevant information to all TNL Live members. In the event of the designated host being absent from duty, an alternative host will be nominated. All TNL Live communications will be made via a private WhatsApp group. Any member that leaves the WhatsApp group of their own accord will not automatically be re-added. Requests to be re-added can be submitted here. TNL Live is a members only football and team bonding initiative. You will automatically become a member once you have participated in one TNL Live fixture. Without exception, the term "member" refers to any person that has participated in at least one TNL Live fixture from Thursday 5thJanuary 2023 onwards. 0 appearances = non member There are no seasonal fees/costs to be a member of TNL Live. All fixtures cost between £4.00 and £5.00 per person to play - the cost varies depending on the venue hire costs. For ways to pay, please refer to the Payment Info page. TNL Live is affiliated with four venues - Wellfield Community School, The Graham Sports Centre, The Pavilion and Goals Sunderland. Please refer to the Location page for address and SatNav details. These venues are not: * Liable for damage to, or theft of, any members transport/personal belongings that is on their premises whilst a TNL Live fixture is underway. * Liable for any injury sustained by any member(s) participating in a TNL Live fixture. All members are actively encouraged to report any potential safety hazards (E.g., glass on the floor) to the venue before a TNL Live fixture commences. * Obliged to let us play additional time beyond our allocated time slot. Good timekeeping is your responsibility. Additional measures are in place to ensure that all fixtures are organised at the highest standards. Please refer to the 2023 Operating Model. Adherence During PlayWhen participating in a TNL Live fixture, members must wear a red or yellow bib for the entire duration of play. The bib will be provided by the host. The TNL Live emblem and website URL must be clearly visible on the front (chest). All members must take a turn in goal. The quantity and duration of goalkeeping differs depending on which venue the TNL Live fixture is being played at: *Wellfield Community School (Indoor) / Goals Sunderland (Outdoor) - five a side games tend to be high scoring and fast paced. Every member is expected to be in goal until two goals have been conceded. This cycle will repeat until the fixture has finished and consequently, some members may be in goal more than others. *The Graham Sports Centre (Outdoor) - this is a large pitch and the games are not as high scoring as the five a side fixtures. Every member will be in goal for a set period of time only. Specifics will be confirmed before each fixture by the host, who will also wear a stopwatch during play to monitor the goalkeeper timings. *The Pavilion - Every member will be in goal for a set period of time only. Specifics will be confirmed before each fixture by the host, who will also wear a stopwatch during play to monitor the goalkeeper timings. The order in which members take their turn in goal can be agreed between team-mates, but in the interests of fairness, the last member for each team to arrive at the venue is expected to start in goal first. The goalkeeping rule can be overridden if a member (Mark for example) expresses a desire to stay in goal for the entire duration of the fixture and all team-mates agree to it. Additionally, if a member wants to go back in goal (tiredness/fatigue) and other members have not yet had their turn, this will be allowed provided that team-mates agree to it. Kitty Contribution/Low Attendance FeeIn order to keep the emphasis on playing the games and ensure that no games are cancelled, members must play a certain quantity of games throughout the season to qualify for free alcohol/soft drinks at the annual end of season Follow The Bear event. This prevents people from opting to play just one game and then expect a free night out. TNL Live rewards those who ensure the games go ahead. For the 2023.season, the Low Attendance Fee is currently under review - this is because there has not been been a Follow The Bear event since 2020 and appearances in 2021, 2022 will be considered when Follow The Bear 2023 plans start to take shape.
